#88 - Noctis Point, Chapter 22

“Is it bad?” Sera asked.

“This is a complete fabrication,” Ariadne said, throwing the softscreen showing the latest press release down onto the table. “Father can’t possibly expect anyone to believe this. Too many people were involved; newscasts are already full of the return of the Machine.” She pounded her fist onto the softscreen, sending crazy patterns spiralling over its surface.

Ariadne faces the fact that she can't stop her father from waging war. But there are problems closer to home that require her full attention...
