#87 - Noctis Point, Chapter 21
Frost burned across his mind and suddenly Alex felt a hard clear wall slam down, like a dome of thin ice. He rocked back slightly, at the same time thrilled and anxious. This wasn’t at all like he’d expected, didn’t feel like the shield Kingly had put up; that had been as thin as a soap bubble and about as threatening, despite its obvious effectiveness. Alex looked wonderingly around himself. His shield was more like being encased inside a glass marble.
What new power does Alex bring to Noctis Point? As he begins to develop his unusual strain of psych power, he soon finds that enemies are easy to come by - and friends much, much harder.
