#82 - Noctis Point, Chapter 16

“Essentially, Principal Reeve, you’ve got a bit of a situation,” she said. They were sat either side of the Principal’s desk, glasses of smokey whisky on the table between them. It was early, but he was sipping at his with the air of a man determined to get through the bottle by supper time. “Your weapons research unit is still viable, but your psychs are not. The Jovians have come up with a way of… blocking themselves, somehow.”

“We can adapt,” Reeve said.

Princess Ariadne visits the Noctis Point base on Mars, and meets with Principal Reeve. As she learns more about psychs, and psych biology, can she work towards a solution for all humans in the face of the oncoming Spider threat?
