“How many have survived long enough to wash out?”

“I have to inform you that this conversation will need to be logged and forwarded to a member of Student Services,” Elsie said.

“How many?”

There was a pause. “…None.”

Alex finds out exactly what a 'null' is, and just how much danger he might be in. Later, as he works to improve his meagre skills, he makes a worrying discovery...

Today was a close one - my microphone broke yesterday and it was a race to get another one in time! But thankfully I've been able to get one, a Samsung Q2U microphone. Fortunately, they've dropped to more than half the price from when I bought mine, nearly two years ago!
