#1 - SomaCorp

I tapped 'Awake' and pressed send, heard the click as the little red clock at the end of my chair went back to zero. Sixteen hours sleep logged, so that some other rich bastards didn't have to at all. My sleep time, seamlessly fed into their brains while microbes scrubbed the toxins from their neurones.

Welcome to Pocket Fiction! It's a podcast featuring fiction by myself and others, starting with a piece called SomaCorp. This is a short horror story I wrote specifically to record. Before I ever had the idea for Pocket Fiction, I thought this would sound good recorded, with just the right amount of creep factor. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed making it. Trigger warning: Paralysis, general creepiness.

I would love to collaborate with you! If you have short fiction that you would like me to include as a standalone episode of Pocket Fiction, drop me a line!

This episode is also available as a video on YouTube, and on the iTunes store!

Thanks for watching/listening! Ideas? Suggestions? Things you would like me to read? Please comment and subscribe!
